Lord Ganesha was interested to get marry so he asked his father for his marriage. Lord Shiva was puzzled when he heard his son's wish. To avoid Ganesha's wish he just said "voli"to lord Ganesha. Lord Ganesha was pleased to hear his father's acceptance. So he came next day and ask for his marriage but this time also lord Shiva said "voli". In this way every time Ganesha came for his marriage Lord Shiva used to say "voli" to Ganesha. In this way neither Lord Ganesha get to marry nor Lord Shiva lied to Ganesha
